Start a Dickens' Village the way Department 56 intended, with one box that holds a whole scene. The Spirit of Giving set brings together Sudbury Church and the Old East Rectory, both lighted, with the three-piece Spirit of Giving figures: a young lady and a girl carrying food baskets to the Rector at his door.
Everything needed to set the scene is in the box: six sisal evergreen trees, a cobblestone road and a bag of Real Plastic Snow. Released in 1997 and retired a year later, this set is complete, in its original box, with both light cords.
In the box (13 pieces): Sudbury Church, Old East Rectory, The Spirit of Giving figures (set of 3), six sisal evergreen trees (1 large, 1 medium, 4 small), cobblestone road (17 3/4 in. x 4 in.), 1.5 oz bag of Real Plastic Snow.
Set value: bought one piece at a time, these would run about $165. As a set, $145.
